This wonderful chateau appartement makes a great place for a cultural or outdoors holiday and is only 5 minutes away from Orange and Châteauneuf-du-Pape, 15 minutes from Avignon - in the region of the Provence-Rhone-Alps. The chateau lies in the heart of the old Principauté D'Orange. The buildings were once used by the Dutch royal family Oranje Nassau for hunting. Nowadays it is a gem in a rural hideaway close to the Châteauneuf du Pape vineyards. The majestic Mont Ventoux is about 1 hrs drive.
Your holiday apartment is tucked away in the main chateau building and you enjoy use of the pool, and the parc which surrounds the chateau.
As the Chateau is near a road, railway and close to an airport: it sometimes gets noisy, but most pf all: it's a joyful place to be in a privately held chateau parc!
